Not The Best 24 hours But The Subtitles Have Gone ππΌππΌππΌ
So this hasn’t been the best 24 hours as far as Nix is concerned. Last night was a bit of a disaster with the new medication. Nix gave it to me as prescribed just as it was getting dark. Two hours later about 9 pm I woke up and I felt very wobbly indeed. I staggered into the lounge with my back legs not working very well. As you know, my back legs are very weak anyway but that silly tablet made them go like jelly. Nix was very upset and she sat with me for a bit and then I went back to bed and went straight to sleep. Nix went to bed about 10.30pm and guess what, I woke her up again at 1:30am wanting to go outπ«’ Nix has decided she won’t give me the meds again, they didn’t work for me and made my back legs wobble and she says she doesn’t mind sleeping with the door open. She did think about giving them to me later but then if I woke up wobbly when she was asleep I might fall over and not be able to get up. Anyone in the UK using Xanax 0.5mg, we have some you can have.
The Sky engineer arrived this morning and he was very polite unlike the last one. Nix turned the TV on and guess what, the subtitles that have been continually on screen had disappeared. The Sky man was laughing and said it happens a lot. Nix told him she’d had to switch them off every time she changed channel but not sure if he believed her. He did an update on her TV though and fixed something on the bedroom TV that had been a problem so hopefully all is well. Nix does have a habit of rewinding a programme if she missed a particular line and putting the subtitles on. She then straightaway turns them off again. He said it’s one of the things the subtitles don’t like, being changed without leaving a little time in between. We’ll have to see how it goes.
To make up for having to get up so early we had a lovely walk in Buckingham Park but Nix left her phone at home so we don’t have any photos from there so she has chosen a couple from a while ago.
Nix moved my bed from the lounge into the other room so the Sky man had plenty of room so I had a choice of beds…I like that π΄
I am sorry to hear the Xanax did not help you but glad you won't be taking it. As for the subtitles on the TV, I have had the same problem!! I hope all is fixed now. Sleep well tonite, love you Fripp. xx
