Nix Is Very Tired Today - Not Sure Why šŸ˜‰

 


Did you know that standing outside in the garden in the middle of the night and staring in is just as good at keeping humans awake as is marching up and down on the hard floors. When I went to bed last night Nix had already opened the door for me to come and go as I like. I wasn’t that happy with that because I do like to be quite annoying. When there was no need to stamp up and down on the floor to wake Nix up I found it a bit boring. It was quite amusing that Nix was tossing and turning whilst I just stood there in the garden and stared. The longer it went on for, the harder it was for Nix to get to sleep and in the end she got up and made herself some tea and toast and watched the TV. 




Afterwards she went back to bed, I disappeared down the side return but I did wake her up once by doing all my digging but then I went to sleep down there. Nix didn’t wake up again until 5 am to find me standing by the door that was closed looking desperate to get in. Nix came out in the garden to show me that the other door was open, but I didn’t want to go in that one, I want to go in the other door that was closed. I think probably I would like both doors open so I can decide at the time which one I want to use. 



Nix had a meeting this afternoon so we had a quick walk into town beforehand. We then had a walk down past the church where the pebble dashing on the memorial wall is just finished. Now we just have to wait for the cross to come back on Thursday and Jesus of course who has been completely refurbished. It should all be done just in time for this Sunday which is Memorial Sunday. 



Tomorrow Nix will take a urine sample and we will drive over to Brighton to get it tested. She is rather hoping I do have a urine infection because that could be what’s causing me to be a bit restless at night. I’m actually much better in other areas, I don’t shake hardly at all and I don’t chatter my teeth so much. It’s just I feel a bit restless at night and I do get tired too because I’d quite like to go to sleep. 


Nix is getting her hair cut on Thursday and Jackie will sit with me…I’m really looking forward to that.


Be brave all you doggies out there who are scared of the fireworks. I used to be frightened too but now I can’t hear them. I promise you they won’t hurt you, try and go to sleep šŸ˜“

    Love you Fripp! I think you need both doors open as choices are good to have. Maybe there is a reason why only one can be open though. It may get too cold. So glad to hear you are not shaking as much and your teeth are not chattering. Your church will look so nice when the work is completed. Many people in the USA have anxiety as we are electing a new President today. I hope it works out for the best. Sleep well, see you tomorrow. xxxooo

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news today is

Apparently I’m Always in the Way

So Nix doesn’t understand why I am always behind her, she said it’s starting to annoy her apart from being very dangerous. She says if she falls over me and breaks her hip who’s going to look after me. Have you seen her hips, it’d take a sledgehammer to break one of those. Anyway she keeps saying there’s only one way out of the bungalow so I don’t need to follow her around everywhere. That’s not strictly true because there are doors at the back and a door at the side. She could escape without me through any of those...I must be vigilant at all times. So now she has settled down to finish getting my blog into print and it really is painful to watch. She says it takes twelve taps on the iPad to add one photograph on one day of the blog. She also says if there are thirty days in the month that will take her 360 taps. She’s got six months left to do... I shouldn’t hold your breath for this blog if I was you.  There will of course be a quicker way to do it which she will discover next year
