Nix Is Tired Today, Not Sure Why š¤
Ladies and gentlemen, fans and followers, I am happy to announce that I have won the battle of the middle of the night garden visits. Nix has finally had to give in and she has accepted that she is going to have to let me out in the garden when I wake in the middle of the night. I woke her at 1.30am this morning and she tried to trick me by sitting on the sofa and watching TV. She honestly thought I was going to get in my bed and go to sleep…non! After she let me out she went back to bed and didn’t wake up, in the garden until 5am this morning. She checked the bungalow and I was nowhere to be seen and she was just contemplating going into the garden to check on me when I walked in.
So… not only have I won this battle, but I think Nix is going to get me some kind of a house to sleep in just in case it starts to rain in the middle of the night. She’s also talking about getting a camera so she can check I’m okay without actually getting out of bed because for some reason she doesn’t want to get her dressing gown on and her shoes and wander around the garden in the middle of the night, I have no idea why. So…any thoughts on cameras, Nix says cheap ones. She is going to look for a second hand kennel locally and make it nice and comfortable for me. I need a Rob Beddington because he made a lovely shelter for Evie.
Because Nix was up half the night she didn’t wake up until 8am this morning which was a bit late as we had lots to do in church... well she did, I just went to sleep. It was very nice to meet Bill and Judy. Nix 'met' Bill on the Churchwardens group on Facebook and he was really helpful when they were setting up the sound system. They live in Steyning which is quite close to us and they decided to pay us a visit. That was very nice and they looked after me when Nix had to go and do things. We had a fire drill at the end of the service and Nix left my bed behind!
This afternoon we took a walk into town but we haven’t really done that much, Nix says she is too tired, can’t think why.
We are having an art installation in the church of paper doves ready for Remembrance Sunday. We have all written our prayers on them for peace in our world and there is going to be one very big paper dove which will hang from the ceiling. I’m looking forward to that š¤£
I love your adventures! You are so fortunate to belong to such a wonderful church with kind and friendly people. I think a house for you in the garden might just be a good thing. Hope Nix gets some rest tonite - and you too! Hugs to both of you. Hope to be back on Facebook soon. xxxooo
