Visit To Trish’s





 Well considering we were going to have a quiet day today we’ve actually been quite busy. This morning after our walk we settled in for a relaxing time. I went to bed and Nix lay out on the sofa, I’d woken her up in the night again so I think she was quite tired. She was just chatting with a friend on the phone when I did one of my throat noises but it was really loud this time. She came rushing in to where I was and unfortunately this time I had made a bit of a mess on the floor. Nix thinks there might be some blood in it but don’t worry, I’ve been really fine since than and as long as I’m okay tomorrow she thinks we can wait to speak with Bron on Monday. I don’t think it was blood, I think it was some of the food I’d had.




I slept for about an hour but then I wanted to go out again. Nix thought it would be a good idea just to walk over the bridge into town to see how I was. I was fine and I think she relaxed a bit. 



When we got back home I went straight to sleep and Nix did some tidying and then Rita turned up for a surprise visit. I didn’t hear her arrive but after a while I kind of sensed someone was there and I went into the lounge for a really good cuddle with Rita. After she went home Nix and I just went to the Rec and then we went round to Trish’s to get something laminated whatever that is. It was very sad that Bess wasn’t there but her bed was. I thought it a bit disrespectful to sleep in her bed so I went to sleep next to it and a big picture of Bess. 




We were at Trish’s quite a long time so I had my last walk up her end of the beach. We did get home about an hour ago but Nix needed to fix her dinner so sorry we’re so late, we know you worry.

    Yes, we do worry when you are late! But that's ok, things do happen. It sounds like you had an interesting and busy day. I love the pictures!!!

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news today is

Apparently I’m Always in the Way

So Nix doesn’t understand why I am always behind her, she said it’s starting to annoy her apart from being very dangerous. She says if she falls over me and breaks her hip who’s going to look after me. Have you seen her hips, it’d take a sledgehammer to break one of those. Anyway she keeps saying there’s only one way out of the bungalow so I don’t need to follow her around everywhere. That’s not strictly true because there are doors at the back and a door at the side. She could escape without me through any of those...I must be vigilant at all times. So now she has settled down to finish getting my blog into print and it really is painful to watch. She says it takes twelve taps on the iPad to add one photograph on one day of the blog. She also says if there are thirty days in the month that will take her 360 taps. She’s got six months left to do... I shouldn’t hold your breath for this blog if I was you.  There will of course be a quicker way to do it which she will discover next year
