Coffee With Liz Today 🤣

 I’ve been taking all my medication in the chicken liver pâté but Nix gets most of it all over her fingers. I think she wishes I’d like the custard cream balls again but eight years is a long time and I was quite bored with them. I really like the pâté even though it’s a bit messy.

This morning I wanted to walk a little further, maybe the antibiotics are kicking in, I hope so. Nix thinks she will wait for two weeks after my flush to get my blood tested again, just to see if they make a difference plus I did have my bypass flushed twice this time. 

This afternoon we have been into town to meet our friend Liz for coffee. I was watching the squirrels when Liz arrived and Nix got her to take a photo of us and she forgot to take one of Liz…next time hopefully. There was a very nice man in the café, he was cuddling me a lot. His wife said he was a dog whisperer but I don’t think he was. I just like being cuddled, by anyone really. I also got two gravy bones from the waitress and a piece of sausage from the lady at the next table. 

When we were on our way back we passed this massive black Labrador with a pair of massive you know whats. I started to bark and jump around and everyone was looking. I really enjoyed that but I did nearly fall over 🫢

Tomorrow Nix is going into town to meet quite a few friends for coffee so Edith will sit with me. Nix thought it might be a bit crowded for me as there will be maybe six of them. I’ll probably get a nice beach walk before she goes and she can tell me all about it when she gets back. 

Nix says to thank you for all the suggestions re my kidneys but a lot of them we’ve tried or they aren’t suitable for me. We think it’s very kind of everyone to offer their pearls of wisdom.
