Lots Of Walks Today šŸ™‚



 Nix has been to her new national Health dentist this morning. When she went on her first visit she had her whole mouth numbed just for cleaning. She was very impressed by that, she said even the needles didn’t hurt and she didn’t feel a thing. Today was a bit different I think, the dentist was just poking around and I think it hurt a bit so Nix isn’t so sure now. The most  important part of this story is that I stayed on my own while Nix went. To tell you the truth I didn’t even know she’d gone, I think I must have been asleep šŸ™‚ The best thing was that I got an extra walk just before she went which was very nice. We went down the side of the river where the fishing boats are. It was a bit too cold to go up to the sandy beach, but I still enjoyed the walk because it made a nice change and it was an extra one. 



I went out into the garden at about 11 pm last night and when Nix woke up at 4 am, she had a quick check and I was still in the garden fast asleep. I really like it out there even when it’s cold.  Virtually everyone who reads the blog and had bought their dog a kennel said that their dogs have never used it so I’m definitely not getting one. I wouldn’t have used it anyway so that’s worked out okay. I think if she left the summer house open, I might go in there but I wouldn’t be able to jump up on the sofa any longer šŸ˜” She could put me a bed in there though couldn’t she. I can hear her muttering, "Please, not another bed!" šŸ¤£




We had a wander round Buckingham Park this afternoon and that was very nice. It was my third walk of the day and it was only early afternoon šŸ™‚ Later on we are going to meet our sound man at church so he can reset the sound desk now that we have it as we want it. I was hoping I might get another walk on the beach near church but we forgot it will be dark by then so that might not happen. I suppose I have had three walks already today so a quick pee stop should do the job until my final walk round the block before bedtime.

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news ...

Apparently I’m Always in the Way

So Nix doesn’t understand why I am always behind her, she said it’s starting to annoy her apart from being very dangerous. She says if she falls over me and breaks her hip who’s going to look after me. Have you seen her hips, it’d take a sledgehammer to break one of those. Anyway she keeps saying there’s only one way out of the bungalow so I don’t need to follow her around everywhere. That’s not strictly true because there are doors at the back and a door at the side. She could escape without me through any of those...I must be vigilant at all times. So now she has settled down to finish getting my blog into print and it really is painful to watch. She says it takes twelve taps on the iPad to add one photograph on one day of the blog. She also says if there are thirty days in the month that will take her 360 taps.
