Visit To See Bron In Peacehaven Today



 So I’ll start off with the most import information of the day which will obviously be news about moi šŸ™‚ This afternoon I have been to see my vet Bron for a mid flush check up. I had a few things going on which Nix was a bit worried about but it seems none of them should be problematic and mainly are to do with my age. I have been making this weird noise from my throat for a couple of weeks. It sounds like I’m about to be sick or I’ve got something caught in my throat. I haven’t really done it recently well until this morning but that’s a story for later. So…I got my dew claws clipped and Nix will take a urine sample in tomorrow just to make sure my wee is nice and acid otherwise my next visit will be for my next flush which will be the end of September. Bron is right over in Peacehaven now so it takes a while to get there so Nix takes a flask of tea and some biscuits. It’s been raining all day so at least least she drank it in the car and didn’t embarrass me by getting it out in the park. 



Anyway this morning Nix and Kay the other churchwarden had an appointment to meet the diocesan architect about getting the repairs to the church wall which is damp. Thanks to Dave who walked the boundary of the parish every day for a month to raise funds, we now have the money to do it but we need lots of permissions. Kay and I were expecting to meet the architect but did not expect to meet quite a few other diocesan people including the archdeacon. It was a bit boring, looking at the wall outside was okay but then we all went inside to discuss the mullions whatever they are. Now I haven’t made that weird noise with my throat for quite a few days and Nix says I must have been saving them up for the archdeacon’s visit because I let three off in quite quick succession. In an empty church I must admit they did sound quite loud. Every time I did one there were quite a few ‘oh dear’ and the conversation about mullions paused for a few seconds. After the third one I was taken outside and had to wait in the car šŸ«¢šŸ¤£

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news ...

Apparently I’m Always in the Way

So Nix doesn’t understand why I am always behind her, she said it’s starting to annoy her apart from being very dangerous. She says if she falls over me and breaks her hip who’s going to look after me. Have you seen her hips, it’d take a sledgehammer to break one of those. Anyway she keeps saying there’s only one way out of the bungalow so I don’t need to follow her around everywhere. That’s not strictly true because there are doors at the back and a door at the side. She could escape without me through any of those...I must be vigilant at all times. So now she has settled down to finish getting my blog into print and it really is painful to watch. She says it takes twelve taps on the iPad to add one photograph on one day of the blog. She also says if there are thirty days in the month that will take her 360 taps.
