I Nearly Ate a Mermaid’s Purse Today 😋

 


Guess what…at 3pm every afternoon I get seven custard cream balls. This is because I’m on antibiotics for one month and they are very big so Nix breaks them into quarters. I get four for my antibiotic, two for my Reconcile and one for my Paracetamol. I also get a tiny piece of bread and butter that has my Propalin drops on it. I’m really enjoying taking my medication and I’ll be a bit disappointed when I have to stop the antibiotics 😋



I found a very tasty fish on the beach this morning, quite fresh really but Nix said it made her feel sick when she looked. She took a photo to show you all but she said she would have to edit it because it was so disgusting. I nearly ate a mermaid’s purse too 🤣



We have home group this evening so Nix is actually doing some housework. I’m going to try really hard not to be annoying but when there a lot of people in the house I just want to say hello to everyone and they’re not really that keen 😪  Never mind, Beth is visiting from London tomorrow and she will give me lots of cuddles. 




We didn’t get to see the sheep today because it would be quite a long walk and it has been freezing. We might go tomorrow if it’s a bit warmer. We are going out for a longer walk this evening before home group because Nix hopes I’ll go to sleep once everyone has arrived.  She also wants to look out for the satellites flying over. She counted over thirty last time but tonight might be a bit too cloudy. I don’t mind of it means I get a longer walk than usual.

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news today is

Big Boats and Little Dogs

 There was a very big boat making a lot of noise when we got to the beach this morning. Nix thought that it was very interesting, me not so much. I suppose it shows just how boring Nix’s life really is.  We went down the river this afternoon. You know how Nix has always been scared of going over the bridge over the busy road. Well now she’s decided she doesn’t like going under the busy road either. I think the lockdown thingy has finally done it’s worst. She says it’s worse coming back because she can see it in the distance and knows she’s got to go under it eventually. I like it under there, it’s really noisy and you can hear the lorries above you racing along.  I like to think I took her mind off going under the bridge by perfecting another one of my annoying habits.
