I Have My Mojo Back 🙂



 Nix says I have my mojo back! I have no idea what that means but she’s much happier so it must be a good thing. 




I didn’t want to go in the car yesterday so we went for a walk along the beach at sunset. I liked it very much because there were lots of dogs to meet but it was very cold.  We went out again at 9pm and Nix was looking upwards at the stars when she noticed the moon looked very different. It had a sort of halo of light round it and Nix found out it’s called a lunar halo. It’s caused by ice particle thingies apparently. You can see Jupiter next to it as well, it made Nix very happy for some reason. 



This morning Nix woke up before me so there were no 3am walkies. We didn’t go to church obviously because I’m still not well enough but Nix watched the live stream on YouTube…I went to sleep which is the norm for me in church. 




Nix just took me to the local rec and we had a little wander down the river and then through the little wood. We met a lady with a Cockatoo, I had to go on my lead 🤣



Nix said to say thank you for all the suggestions to make me better but we’d be here until next year if we tried them all. Nix has utmost trust in Bron my vet and so do I so we’ll carry on with her recommendations for now. It doesn’t mean we arent very grateful though 🙂

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news today is

Big Boats and Little Dogs

 There was a very big boat making a lot of noise when we got to the beach this morning. Nix thought that it was very interesting, me not so much. I suppose it shows just how boring Nix’s life really is.  We went down the river this afternoon. You know how Nix has always been scared of going over the bridge over the busy road. Well now she’s decided she doesn’t like going under the busy road either. I think the lockdown thingy has finally done it’s worst. She says it’s worse coming back because she can see it in the distance and knows she’s got to go under it eventually. I like it under there, it’s really noisy and you can hear the lorries above you racing along.  I like to think I took her mind off going under the bridge by perfecting another one of my annoying habits. I like to walk right behind her and when she looks over her right shoulder to make sure I’m still there I overtake her on the left.
