Still Trembling but Only in my Sleep 🙂




 So the good news is that they tested my urine this morning and it’s as good as it ever is so I don’t have to have the extra month on antibiotics. I think Nix is quite pleased because she said I was getting a bit tubby with all the custard cream balls. Once again I’m thinking pot and kettle 😉 I think the real reason is that she gets embarrassed walking down the street with a plastic jug ready to collect the first wee of the morning 🤣



Nix showed Bron another video of me trembling again and she has decided now that as it only happens when I’m asleep it’s probably neurological. She says she won’t give me anything for it unless it got more serious like if I had a seizure. Because of my autoimmune situation she is very careful what she gives me because we have had some scary things happen in the past. When she gave me a Librella injection for my arthritis my platelets dropped right down so we have all decided that as long as I’m happy and not in pain we won’t risk any more medication.




We were going to go for a walk into town this afternoon but I decided I’d prefer to go to the beach and I’m happy to say I got my way…as usual.







I slept on my new orthopaedic bed all night last night but I did wake Nix up a couple of times trying to dig it up. She kept showing me her quilted bedspread which she has to put on upside down because when I used to sleep on the bed I might have ripped it up a bit 🫢

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news today is

Big Boats and Little Dogs

 There was a very big boat making a lot of noise when we got to the beach this morning. Nix thought that it was very interesting, me not so much. I suppose it shows just how boring Nix’s life really is.  We went down the river this afternoon. You know how Nix has always been scared of going over the bridge over the busy road. Well now she’s decided she doesn’t like going under the busy road either. I think the lockdown thingy has finally done it’s worst. She says it’s worse coming back because she can see it in the distance and knows she’s got to go under it eventually. I like it under there, it’s really noisy and you can hear the lorries above you racing along.  I like to think I took her mind off going under the bridge by perfecting another one of my annoying habits.
