The Hat Had its First Outing…🙂



It was very windy yesterday so the new hat got it’s first outing. It worked very well and stopped Nix’s hair from blowing everywhere and she is very pleased…thank you Judi 🥰



Alan our neighbour who was going to move the bed for us today came and did it last night in the end. I was a bit confused when Nix went to bed but I still had two beds in there so I soon got used to it. In fact I think I prefer it, it leaves me lots of room in what was the old bedroom, I could have more beds in there 🙂 Nix says no because she wants to put a sofa or a dining table in there but there will always be room for more beds. Thank you Alan, you’re a very good neighbour 🙂



This morning I decided I didn’t want to go to the beach so we went down by the industrial bit of the river instead. I had to stay on my lead apart from when we got to the little beach and then I was allowed off. I like the fact that I can choose where we go. I just put my brakes on and look in the direction I’m wanting to go in and Nix just follows 🙂 




This afternoon it’s been very hot so we’ve been to the little wood at the bottom of Southwick Hill. We filled the car up with petrol and Nix bought Maltesers so she’s happy. I had some tuna on my kibble as a treat and now I’m asleep in the summerhouse. Life is pretty good really 😇

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news today is

Big Boats and Little Dogs

 There was a very big boat making a lot of noise when we got to the beach this morning. Nix thought that it was very interesting, me not so much. I suppose it shows just how boring Nix’s life really is.  We went down the river this afternoon. You know how Nix has always been scared of going over the bridge over the busy road. Well now she’s decided she doesn’t like going under the busy road either. I think the lockdown thingy has finally done it’s worst. She says it’s worse coming back because she can see it in the distance and knows she’s got to go under it eventually. I like it under there, it’s really noisy and you can hear the lorries above you racing along.  I like to think I took her mind off going under the bridge by perfecting another one of my annoying habits. I like to walk right behind her and when she looks over her right shoulder to make sure I’m still there I overtake her on the left.
