Rain Rain Go Away ☔️



 It’s rained quite a lot today and so we haven’t really been anywhere interesting. I had to stay on my lead this morning because the sea was very rough and obviously Nix didn’t want me swept away…I could have ended up back in France. 




There must have been an intruder in the house because Monkey has lost his squeaker and let’s face it, most of his stuffing too. I expect it’s the same intruder who digs up the garden. I do have quite a lot of toys so I didn’t mind too much and I do know that feeling when you just want to rip things apart. 



Nix and I have had lots of cuddles today, I like that and I did fall asleep on her lap, I think my teeth might be showing a bit. I have a funny bit of hair that is sticking out from under my nose and it’s been annoying me a bit because it tickles and when I lick it, it disappears up my nose. Nix has been trying to cut it off for days now but I don’t trust her with those scissors. It’s good to be back on the sofa again though and I have my eye on the new bed now which arrives on 1st April. I think with the help of my step I might be able to reach it. 




We have just had a wander to the beach. It stopped raining and the sea has calmed down a bit so I was allowed off my lead. I found some interesting stones to look at but to be honest it was all a bit boring. I like to go out in the car and apparently spring is here so soon we shall be exploring lots of new places 🤣

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news today is

Big Boats and Little Dogs

 There was a very big boat making a lot of noise when we got to the beach this morning. Nix thought that it was very interesting, me not so much. I suppose it shows just how boring Nix’s life really is.  We went down the river this afternoon. You know how Nix has always been scared of going over the bridge over the busy road. Well now she’s decided she doesn’t like going under the busy road either. I think the lockdown thingy has finally done it’s worst. She says it’s worse coming back because she can see it in the distance and knows she’s got to go under it eventually. I like it under there, it’s really noisy and you can hear the lorries above you racing along.  I like to think I took her mind off going under the bridge by perfecting another one of my annoying habits.
