Airport Today And I Got My Paws On My Elephant…



 So…apparently it’s really annoying when I go in the opposite direction to Nix. I personally can’t seem to grasp the problem, I mean is this my walk or is it Nix’s. The way I see it is that it’s my walk so I go wherever I want and Nix is meant to follow. For reason best known to herself she seems to think it should be the other way round 🙄Anyone know any good human trainers, positive reinforcement should work I think, Cadbury’s Chocolate Nibbles probably🤣



We went to Cafe_no8 at the airport this afternoon and Nix had a veggie sausage sandwich. I like it there because we can watch the planes but more importantly they have lots of doggy treats and oh yes…they have lemon drizzle for Nix. 



After the café we went back to the recreation ground but the fair is still there and Nix doesn’t like me getting too close in case I take off and get lost. We took a trip along the river instead but the tide was right out so no chance of a paddle. 




Nix has been arguing with her printer for most of the afternoon. Every year each of the Lent groups does a little service during Holy week. Nix is organising her group’s one which did entail engaging her brain which frankly is asking for trouble. Anyway rather miraculously she would appear to have finished so hopefully it’ll all be alright on the night 🙂


It’s a bit noisy here at the moment as the gas people are replacing all the gas pipes which entails digging up all the pavements and shouting to each other from one end of the street to the other…it didn’t help with the printer issues 🤣



Oh yes…there was a elephant incident. I should just like to say that Ness Keweb sent me that elephant and Nix took it for herself. She made the misake however of putting it somewhere that I could reach 🤣

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news today is

Big Boats and Little Dogs

 There was a very big boat making a lot of noise when we got to the beach this morning. Nix thought that it was very interesting, me not so much. I suppose it shows just how boring Nix’s life really is.  We went down the river this afternoon. You know how Nix has always been scared of going over the bridge over the busy road. Well now she’s decided she doesn’t like going under the busy road either. I think the lockdown thingy has finally done it’s worst. She says it’s worse coming back because she can see it in the distance and knows she’s got to go under it eventually. I like it under there, it’s really noisy and you can hear the lorries above you racing along.  I like to think I took her mind off going under the bridge by perfecting another one of my annoying habits.
