Rita Came To Visit 🙂

 Do you know we go to the beach at lots of different times and those shingle shifters are always there.  Tomorrow we might drive up to Lancing to see exactly where they’re putting all our shingle. We don’t mind but we just wish they’d hurry up. They were there yesterday afternoon and again this morning and guess what, this morning they waved at us, like we’re old friends 🤣 I suppose it’s better than the houses falling into the sea 🤔



Rita came to visit this morning which was very exciting. I like her a lot but once she and Nix get together they do like to sing and dance…it’s quite painful to be in the same room so I took myself off to bed. They said a prayer for me but it was basically for me to stop barking when they were trying to talk 🤣 We all went for a walk in Buckingham Park which was very nice but neither of them were dressed for the mud so we didn’t get that far. Nix forgot her hat and her gloves so she was moaning about the cold and to be honest, it was a bit nippy. I do feel the cold more these days.



We have our prayer and meditation in the morning and then we are going for a cup of tea at Jackie’s in the afternoon so that will nice. I’ll be able to play with Indie’s toys…when she’s not looking 🙂



Petplan have paid all my medical bills in full so guess what,  Nix is actually going into town next week to buy a new iPad. She said this one will give her a nervous breakdown if she has to use it any longer. Don’t anyone remind her that she still has to pay 20% of the bill otherwise she’ll just start procrastinating again and I can’t stand to listen to it for one minute longer 🫢

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news today is

Big Boats and Little Dogs

 There was a very big boat making a lot of noise when we got to the beach this morning. Nix thought that it was very interesting, me not so much. I suppose it shows just how boring Nix’s life really is.  We went down the river this afternoon. You know how Nix has always been scared of going over the bridge over the busy road. Well now she’s decided she doesn’t like going under the busy road either. I think the lockdown thingy has finally done it’s worst. She says it’s worse coming back because she can see it in the distance and knows she’s got to go under it eventually. I like it under there, it’s really noisy and you can hear the lorries above you racing along.  I like to think I took her mind off going under the bridge by perfecting another one of my annoying habits.
