We are Praying for the Ukraine 🙏😪



 There are terrible things going on in a place called Ukraine at the moment. Nix says I’m not to be too flippant today, I shall try but I don’t actually know what that means. We are saying our prayers for the people that live there 😇🙏





We had a very wet walk this morning.  I made the mistake of digging up the towel on the bed before I got dried off properly. It was okay though, I just popped into the lounge and jumped up onto Nix’s lap and her new trousers blotted up all the rainwater in very quick time actually... I might try that every time 🤔



We had some hailstones this afternoon but then the sun came out so we have been for a lovely walk in the sunshine which was very nice. 




Nix is having problems typing out the blog because she says the iPad has gone bonkers. It’s been typing stuff all on its own and showing photographs that no one wanted to see and then it dialled the emergency vet. Apparently it’s called ghost typing and it completely freaked Nix out, she thought someone had taken over her machine 🤣 She’s got two iPads, both of them are quite old and both of them have got cracked screens. This is because apparently Nix didn’t drop them which of course she did. She lies on the sofa with the iPad and falls asleep and they slip onto the floor, that’s why they’re both cracked. Anyway the second one will suddenly just stop doing anything, it freezes completely. I can hear Nix tapping away and getting really annoyed with it, I find it quite amusing 😇 I think today’s blog is going to be done on the phone so thank goodness she’s had at least one eye done 🤣

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news today is

Big Boats and Little Dogs

 There was a very big boat making a lot of noise when we got to the beach this morning. Nix thought that it was very interesting, me not so much. I suppose it shows just how boring Nix’s life really is.  We went down the river this afternoon. You know how Nix has always been scared of going over the bridge over the busy road. Well now she’s decided she doesn’t like going under the busy road either. I think the lockdown thingy has finally done it’s worst. She says it’s worse coming back because she can see it in the distance and knows she’s got to go under it eventually. I like it under there, it’s really noisy and you can hear the lorries above you racing along.  I like to think I took her mind off going under the bridge by perfecting another one of my annoying habits. I like to walk right behind her and when she looks over her right shoulder to make sure I’m still there I overtake her on the left.
