Nix’s iPad Has Gone Completely Bonkers 🤣



 Well we’ve had a very busy day so far and I’m going to have to go and have a little lie down. First of all we went out very early so we could have a walk before we went over to the church for meditation. Then of course it was tea and croissant afterwards in the parish centre. We’d only been home about half an hour when we went out again with Indie from next door with her dad Barney and Jackie. Barney goes back to Ethiopia tomorrow and guess what…Indie’s staying here, she will be my proper neighbour 🙂 Nix had hot chocolate and Barney had coffee and they were both half way through before the realised they’d got each other’s drinks 🙄🤣 On the way back Indie got to practise her running because in Ethiopia she didn’t get chance to run very often. 




Nix’s big iPad, her favourite has gone completely bonkers now. At first it wouldn’t let her in at all, told her to come back in five minutes 🤣🤣🤣   When it did finally let her in it started to type in the search bar ‘66’ and then thankfully a ‘7’ but still freaked Nix out. When she tried to write the blog it suddenly started typing on its own and got as far as HE and Nix was convinced it was going to say HELP so she’s given up completely now, says it’s doing her head in. The iPad man says it’s because the screen is cracked and there’s not a lot he can do about it until she replaces it. Thankfully she has a smaller iPad that she can use but that keeps going on strike so that’s why we’re so late. 



I think we’ll keep the blog short today so that Nix retains her sanity, I do use that term very loosely 🤣🤣🤣



Oh yes, Nix made dozens of custard cream balls and then realised I was due to stop my antibiotics today. I shall have to have them as treats 😇

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news today is

Big Boats and Little Dogs

 There was a very big boat making a lot of noise when we got to the beach this morning. Nix thought that it was very interesting, me not so much. I suppose it shows just how boring Nix’s life really is.  We went down the river this afternoon. You know how Nix has always been scared of going over the bridge over the busy road. Well now she’s decided she doesn’t like going under the busy road either. I think the lockdown thingy has finally done it’s worst. She says it’s worse coming back because she can see it in the distance and knows she’s got to go under it eventually. I like it under there, it’s really noisy and you can hear the lorries above you racing along.  I like to think I took her mind off going under the bridge by perfecting another one of my annoying habits. I like to walk right behind her and when she looks over her right shoulder to make sure I’m still there I overtake her on the left.
