Mad Humans in the Sea…

 It’s very windy still today. Nix decided we should drive to church as it was too windy to walk along the beach. This was the first time she’s driven since she had her eye thingy done so I was just a little nervous. She said she could see a lot better than she could before and that everything was okay...phew.  She also said she couldn’t believe how much she could see in church, even the petals on the flowers. She said she could see people quite clearly right at the front of the church, not that that made any difference of course because of her face blindness she doesn’t recognise anyone anyway 🤣 



Because we were driving to church we had an early walk along the beach before the wind picked up and made it dangerous. There were mad humans in the sea, Nix said they were very naughty because the sea was too rough even then. 



Jackie next door has just messaged to say that some tiles have come off our summerhouse roof having told everyone we’ve had no damage 🙄 We’re lucky it wasn’t the bungalow but we have to get it fixed. 



Can I just say that I think Nix got far too many comments on her new top. Let’s not forget that I had to give up my new dog bed so she could have it 🤔😉

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news today is

Big Boats and Little Dogs

 There was a very big boat making a lot of noise when we got to the beach this morning. Nix thought that it was very interesting, me not so much. I suppose it shows just how boring Nix’s life really is.  We went down the river this afternoon. You know how Nix has always been scared of going over the bridge over the busy road. Well now she’s decided she doesn’t like going under the busy road either. I think the lockdown thingy has finally done it’s worst. She says it’s worse coming back because she can see it in the distance and knows she’s got to go under it eventually. I like it under there, it’s really noisy and you can hear the lorries above you racing along.  I like to think I took her mind off going under the bridge by perfecting another one of my annoying habits. I like to walk right behind her and when she looks over her right shoulder to make sure I’m still there I overtake her on the left.
