Beth Came to Visit, I was a Bit Bored 🤭

 So found out who sent me my treats…it was Sheli Morris’s Baillie. He saved up his pawket money so thank you very much Baillie, I do love them 🥰



Today we have had a visit from our friend Beth and she and Nix spent the morning faffing around with hair. I went to sleep on the bed because it was a bit boring. It was a very clean bed by the way but this isn’t because I was a clean boy last night. What happened was Nix woke me up with a start in the middle of the night. She suddenly sneezed really loudly and it scared me. I demanded to be let out in the garden where it is quieter and do you know, Nix went back to sleep with me still out there. When she woke up this morning I was still out there fast asleep by the bins. She said it’s impossible to check if there was any leakage because I was lying on top of all the soil I’d dug up the day before. She says I do smell a bit pongy so we’ll have to see what happens tonight. I’ve had a bit of a clean up this afternoon ready for church tomorrow. 





We’ve been to the park again this afternoon and I chased squirrels but Nix was too tired to go any further.   I am however promised a really good walk tomorrow as we have the whole day off after morning meditation at the church and then we are going into Jackie’s house for a cup of tea. I am going to try and be a clean boy tonight but sometimes I can’t help it, it’s not my fault 🥰 Nix says for once it actually isn’t my fault 😇




PS Nix says I should explain I wasn’t locked out last night, the door was open the whole time so I suppose I could have come in if I’d wanted to.

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news today is

Big Boats and Little Dogs

 There was a very big boat making a lot of noise when we got to the beach this morning. Nix thought that it was very interesting, me not so much. I suppose it shows just how boring Nix’s life really is.  We went down the river this afternoon. You know how Nix has always been scared of going over the bridge over the busy road. Well now she’s decided she doesn’t like going under the busy road either. I think the lockdown thingy has finally done it’s worst. She says it’s worse coming back because she can see it in the distance and knows she’s got to go under it eventually. I like it under there, it’s really noisy and you can hear the lorries above you racing along.  I like to think I took her mind off going under the bridge by perfecting another one of my annoying habits. I like to walk right behind her and when she looks over her right shoulder to make sure I’m still there I overtake her on the left.
