Worthing Today…Shopping 🙄

 


Well it’s been a funny old day today. We had a very early walk on the beach because Nix does her Zoom thingie first thing. Once the Zoomimg was over I got to go out again because Nix was going to the hairdressers a bit later. I didn’t really sleep while Nix was away so when she got home I was very tired and went for a long sleep. I prefer to sleep when I know Nix is in the next room. 



This afternoon we have been to Worthing to check out the shops. I of course got a lot of attention and Nix was complimented on how handsome I looked as if she had anything to do with it. I got a lot of fuss and met a lot of dogs. There was almost an incident with a Labrador but Nix saw it before I did…damn. Nix was telling the ladies who were admiring me that it was a close shave as I couldn’t be trusted around Labradors. They were all of the opinion that it would not have been a good thing because the Labrador was guiding a blind person 🤭




You will notice there is no posing today, this is because Nix forgot to take treats and I’m not doing it for nothing because it is very boring.

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news today is

Big Boats and Little Dogs

 There was a very big boat making a lot of noise when we got to the beach this morning. Nix thought that it was very interesting, me not so much. I suppose it shows just how boring Nix’s life really is.  We went down the river this afternoon. You know how Nix has always been scared of going over the bridge over the busy road. Well now she’s decided she doesn’t like going under the busy road either. I think the lockdown thingy has finally done it’s worst. She says it’s worse coming back because she can see it in the distance and knows she’s got to go under it eventually. I like it under there, it’s really noisy and you can hear the lorries above you racing along.  I like to think I took her mind off going under the bridge by perfecting another one of my annoying habits. I like to walk right behind her and when she looks over her right shoulder to make sure I’m still there I overtake her on the left.
