Been to my First Concert Today and Someone Called Matt Hancock Resigned 🤭



 I’ve been to my first concert today, it was a fundraiser for our church and I must admit, once I’d gone to sleep I really enjoyed it. As you know I don’t like music in the street and so Nix was expecting the worst. As soon as the clapping started I wanted to go home but Nix was quite bossy with me. She said I was being neurotic and it wasn’t very loud and I was to sit down. I must admit once I sat down I felt quite tired because we’d had a long walk before the concert started and I did nearly doze off. There was Pimms and strawberries and cream in the interval so I got some cream when we got back to our seat. We had to take our own chair and Nix had taken a cushion too but lost it immediately we got there. It was only when we got home and she watched the video back she could see it on the next chair which is where she’d put it in the first place. She should never have had the second glass of Pimms, she can’t take it. We walked back to the car and put the chair in the boot (minus the cushion) and then walked home

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news today is

Big Boats and Little Dogs

 There was a very big boat making a lot of noise when we got to the beach this morning. Nix thought that it was very interesting, me not so much. I suppose it shows just how boring Nix’s life really is.  We went down the river this afternoon. You know how Nix has always been scared of going over the bridge over the busy road. Well now she’s decided she doesn’t like going under the busy road either. I think the lockdown thingy has finally done it’s worst. She says it’s worse coming back because she can see it in the distance and knows she’s got to go under it eventually. I like it under there, it’s really noisy and you can hear the lorries above you racing along.  I like to think I took her mind off going under the bridge by perfecting another one of my annoying habits. I like to walk right behind her and when she looks over her right shoulder to make sure I’m still there I overtake her on the left.
