Trip into Town, I Didn’t Like the Piano on Wheels!



 It’s Saturday today you know so we’ve been into town to look at the shops. All the humans are out shopping now it’s allowed and everyone was having coffee outside. There was a piano with wheels on it, I didn’t like it 😱 The restaurant at the end of our road has got shelters for people to sit in so they don’t get too cold. Soon they will be able to sit inside as long as they don’t get too close to each other. Nix says life is getting back to normal but not sure how ‘normal’ Nix’s life is 🤣🤣🤣







When I said yesterday that Nix ate all the prawn toasts, that wasn’t exactly true...she did save me just a bit.  She said to please ignore the dirty fingers, that was the planting of the Sweet Peas. 



Can I just say that I definitely don’t like the plant down the side of the house so I dug it up. I don’t understand what’s so difficult to understand about that, if Nix keeps planting it I shall dig it up again, it’s dead anyway 🤭



Lemon drizzle tomorrow and possibly doughnuts on the way home 👏🏼  I’m resting now 🙂

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news today is

Big Boats and Little Dogs

 There was a very big boat making a lot of noise when we got to the beach this morning. Nix thought that it was very interesting, me not so much. I suppose it shows just how boring Nix’s life really is.  We went down the river this afternoon. You know how Nix has always been scared of going over the bridge over the busy road. Well now she’s decided she doesn’t like going under the busy road either. I think the lockdown thingy has finally done it’s worst. She says it’s worse coming back because she can see it in the distance and knows she’s got to go under it eventually. I like it under there, it’s really noisy and you can hear the lorries above you racing along.  I like to think I took her mind off going under the bridge by perfecting another one of my annoying habits. I like to walk right behind her and when she looks over her right shoulder to make sure I’m still there I overtake her on the left.
