Bit of an Incident on the Beach This Morning 🤭



 Okay I admit it...there was a bit of a humping incident this morning. It wasn’t my fault because I was on the lead. Nix saw Otto the black Labrador coming down the beach and I am always put on my lead when he’s around because apparently I am unable to behave myself.  Nix said I was over excited because Humphrey and Albert had turned up and I was too pleased to see them. Anyway as you know, Otto only has three legs now so Nix said the humping is not allowed any more. Well if it’s not allowed she should keep an eye on things instead of standing around gossiping. Otto was right in my face so I did launch myself at him. He didn’t seem to mind actually and just stood there. There was a bit of growling going on, not sure if it was me or him but then of course Nix turns round and catches me in the act. Why is it always my fault. 





Anyway talking of bad behaviour, our very good friend Sarah Beddington has been sent to jail by Facebook. Sarah is proclaiming her innocence but to be honest I’ve heard a few things 🤭🤣 Nix says there is no evidence that she has broken any rules and she should be a free woman in a few days. Sarah says she’s very sorry she can’t write any posts or reply to any but she hopes she’ll be back soon...released on good behaviour...I’ll believe that when I see it 🤣🤣🤣



Today we went to the other side of the river. I had my photo taken by the memorial for the men who died in the Shoreham air crash. It happened back in 2015 and Nix told me 11 men were killed...that’s very sad. Some of the friends of one of the men went out that night and tied ribbons on the bridge near where it happened. The memorial was built to replace them.

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news today is

Big Boats and Little Dogs

 There was a very big boat making a lot of noise when we got to the beach this morning. Nix thought that it was very interesting, me not so much. I suppose it shows just how boring Nix’s life really is.  We went down the river this afternoon. You know how Nix has always been scared of going over the bridge over the busy road. Well now she’s decided she doesn’t like going under the busy road either. I think the lockdown thingy has finally done it’s worst. She says it’s worse coming back because she can see it in the distance and knows she’s got to go under it eventually. I like it under there, it’s really noisy and you can hear the lorries above you racing along.  I like to think I took her mind off going under the bridge by perfecting another one of my annoying habits. I like to walk right behind her and when she looks over her right shoulder to make sure I’m still there I overtake her on the left.
