The Replacement iPad has Arrived 👏

 We had a very quick walk round the block this morning because Nix was zooming at 8am. We then went for our proper walk much earlier than normal and Nix actually thought that I might get confused with walk times. She actually thought she was going to be able to laze around all day just because she took me to Southwick Hill...I think not.  




She miraculously managed to avoid all the bramble hoops too, just the one near miss which nearly took her out. We’d only been back two hours when my internal body clock told me it was time for the next walk. Nix tried to get out of it by playing with me on the bed. She got a bit too excited and then she pushed me off the bed. She says it was me who was too excited and I fell off the bed. It’s up to you folks, I know the truth!






I’ve been a bit poorly this afternoon, I’ve eaten a lot of grass and been quite sick. I do feel a bit better now and I’m having a little rest in the garden. It’s very sunny here so I’m not too cold or anything. 




Nix’s replacement iPad has just arrived...it’s not Rose Pink but hopefully it will work properly and this will be the last time I have to watch Nix squinting over her phone. She just has to get it set up now...we could be a while 🙄

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news today is

Big Boats and Little Dogs

 There was a very big boat making a lot of noise when we got to the beach this morning. Nix thought that it was very interesting, me not so much. I suppose it shows just how boring Nix’s life really is.  We went down the river this afternoon. You know how Nix has always been scared of going over the bridge over the busy road. Well now she’s decided she doesn’t like going under the busy road either. I think the lockdown thingy has finally done it’s worst. She says it’s worse coming back because she can see it in the distance and knows she’s got to go under it eventually. I like it under there, it’s really noisy and you can hear the lorries above you racing along.  I like to think I took her mind off going under the bridge by perfecting another one of my annoying habits.
