The Poopie Pasta 😱



 Yay it’s stopped raining and the sun is out and I’ve been to Southwick Hill 👏👏👏 The day didn’t start so well with just a quick walk round he block. This was beacause Nix had an early morning Zoom thingy and I think she honestly thought she was going to get away with that until lunchtime...I think not. She only lasted 30 minutes after the Zoom thingy ended when even she could see how much fun it would be to go to the hill in the sunshine...she had forgotten about the mud of course. I am a lightweight as you know, not quite 20kg so I sort of float over the top of it.  Nix not so much, she sinks almost up to the top of her boots.




When we first arrive at the bottom of the hill we have to walk up a path between two farmer’s fields. The path has got wider and wider where the humans are trying to avoid each other and it’s very muddy too. I’m not allowed to go off the path onto the farmer’s field but some owners are very naughty and they let their dogs run all over the fields. One dog even did the poopies over there which is very rude. Now I’m not being funny but that farmer grows wheat in his field and I know that wheat makes pasta and I like my pasta, I have it with my turkey mince of course. Now there’s going to be poopie pasta and that’s not going to taste very nice. Having said that I did know a dog once who used to eat all our poos but then he was a Labrador. 





We got right to the top of the hill and we saw this woman being dragged along by her dog. She was telling anyone who would listen that he wasn’t her dog and the owner had warned her he was a bit boisterous. Well boisterous is very much an understatement,  somehow he got free of his lead and was running amok trying to knock everyone over. I stood between him and Nix, I’m not having her knocked over. I think we’re pushing our luck with the amount of times she’s fallen over recently and not broken anything...no point in tempting fate so I saw him off.  





Now my timing is all over the place and it’s got to the time we usually go out. Nix is trying to convince me that we won’t be doing that because we’ve already had two walks. The sun’s just come out again so I have a feeling I might win this battle 🙂

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. Christmas Is Coming And We Have New Vicar 😋

So we had a very exciting morning at church…actually Nix did, I was asleep for most of it. Nix and the other churchwarden Kay were able to announce to the church that they have a new vicar. They have been unable to tell anyone about it until certain checks had been done so it’s been quite difficult for them. Now everyone knows and we are all looking forward to Rev Dominic Fenton coming to join us. He had to tell his church this morning that he would be leaving so that would’ve been quite difficult for him I should imagine. I had my photo taken with Nicky and Donald after the service, they brought me biscuits 😋 We have a carol service this evening so we’ll be going back just after 5 o’clock as we’re on welcoming duty. Nix has got some fairy lights to wear around her neck but she’s not sure what the rules are in the Church of England.
