I’m Putting in a Formal Complaint!

 So I’d like to put in a formal complaint...as far as I am aware today is not Sunday. Why then has today been deemed a day of rest by Nix. I got my usual walk on the beach this morning and then nothing. Try as I might Nix is engrossed in Christmas movies. There is far too much on television these days and I might have to make do with only three walks! 

Update...my lead is out and we’re off for a walk. 


So we got a walk down by the river but the bit where I have to stay on my lead because there are cats in flats. Nix says she doesn’t want me disappearing into one of the blocks like I did when we first moved here. I went in with someone and the door closed behind me. Nix couldn’t get in and I couldn’t get out. The most annoying thing to my mind was I never found the darned cat. Nix wasn’t amused, she had to ring all the bells to get someone to open the door so she could come and get me. She said she thought she was never going to see me again. I shouldn’t have thought she’d have minded as apparently I am very annoying on the lead because she says once again I can’t seem to walk in a straight line. 


We’re home now and I’ve left Nix to type out my blog. She said you all enjoyed reading about moi... she seemed surprised...seriously 🙄 




Storm Bella is on the way so Nix is busy trying to secure all the fairy lights. She had only taken one photo of me when I found  a ball by the flats. I insisted on one more, I am trying to perfect my best ‘bored’ expression. I think it works best in sepia.

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news today is

Big Boats and Little Dogs

 There was a very big boat making a lot of noise when we got to the beach this morning. Nix thought that it was very interesting, me not so much. I suppose it shows just how boring Nix’s life really is.  We went down the river this afternoon. You know how Nix has always been scared of going over the bridge over the busy road. Well now she’s decided she doesn’t like going under the busy road either. I think the lockdown thingy has finally done it’s worst. She says it’s worse coming back because she can see it in the distance and knows she’s got to go under it eventually. I like it under there, it’s really noisy and you can hear the lorries above you racing along.  I like to think I took her mind off going under the bridge by perfecting another one of my annoying habits. I like to walk right behind her and when she looks over her right shoulder to make sure I’m still there I overtake her on the left.
