I’m Still Rallying…Nix Has Had To Order More Food 😋



 I’m still ‘rallying’ apparently, in fact I’ve ‘rallied’ so much Nix has had to order more food for me. I now have some beef slices, my favourite, some ham slices and some chicken slices. Nix also got me something called Chappie which is meant to encourage me to eat…seriously!!! Bring me the beef slices, that’s what will encourage me to eat. I also got a doggie muffin this morning. Nix asked on our neighbours WhatsApp group if anyone would like some of the treats that I won’t eat. They got snapped up very quickly but not surprisingly not a single person wanted the Chappie 🤣 Louisa at number 40 took the treats for her Bella as she is in training and she brought me a Naked Woofin which was very nice. Nix put it on the floor expecting me to ignore it and I ate half of it 😋




Nix has had a long chat with Bron and we are going to see her now at 12 noon on Friday. She will check my blood to see how my kidneys are doing but we know they won’t be getting any better. I don’t mind so much, I am very happy going for walks and sleeping most of the time.



I have been to the beach twice today already. This morning I wanted to take the longer walk and I think Nix thought I might tire on the way home but I was fine. This afternoon it has been much colder so we went on a shorter walk. 


Nix took some photos of my food choices, what is it with humans that they like to take photos of food!

Christmas Is Coming And We Have New Vicar 😋

So we had a very exciting morning at church…actually Nix did, I was asleep for most of it. Nix and the other churchwarden Kay were able to announce to the church that they have a new vicar. They have been unable to tell anyone about it until certain checks had been done so it’s been quite difficult for them. Now everyone knows and we are all looking forward to Rev Dominic Fenton coming to join us. He had to tell his church this morning that he would be leaving so that would’ve been quite difficult for him I should imagine. I had my photo taken with Nicky and Donald after the service, they brought me biscuits 😋 We have a carol service this evening so we’ll be going back just after 5 o’clock as we’re on welcoming duty. Nix has got some fairy lights to wear around her neck but she’s not sure what the rules are in the Church of England. Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet.
