Had A Little To Eat Today…



 Nix has scrubbed the rug three times now and she says it will never be the same again, she doesn’t seem to mind however so that’s okay.



We had a very good night, as discussed the garden door stayed open all night and I was in my bed right in front of it guarding. This meant that Nix slept through the whole night and we both had quite a long lay in this morning.





When we eventually did get up, we went to the beach but unfortunately it started to rain and we both got really wet. We hadn’t been back that long when Jackie came to visit to see how we were. That was very nice because Nix asked her to take some pictures of us together because we don’t have that many. I’m a bit bedraggled because of the rain. 





Bron called this morning and the plan is to go visit her next Friday in her new practice and she will take some of my blood to test and see how much my kidneys have deteriorated. Because I’m not taking any of my medication she has suggested a liquid version of paracetamol which apparently Nix is going to try and squirt through the side of my mouth… that’s never going to happen 🤣


 On the way back from the park this afternoon Nix stopped off at the pet shop and bought a whole selection of treats. I’ve tried them all and I don’t like most of them but there are a couple that I really liked so I shall be getting those now when we go on walks. As you know I like to be ‘persuaded’ to go round corners 🤣

Christmas Is Coming And We Have New Vicar 😋

So we had a very exciting morning at church…actually Nix did, I was asleep for most of it. Nix and the other churchwarden Kay were able to announce to the church that they have a new vicar. They have been unable to tell anyone about it until certain checks had been done so it’s been quite difficult for them. Now everyone knows and we are all looking forward to Rev Dominic Fenton coming to join us. He had to tell his church this morning that he would be leaving so that would’ve been quite difficult for him I should imagine. I had my photo taken with Nicky and Donald after the service, they brought me biscuits 😋 We have a carol service this evening so we’ll be going back just after 5 o’clock as we’re on welcoming duty. Nix has got some fairy lights to wear around her neck but she’s not sure what the rules are in the Church of England. Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news ...
