We Have Another Storm On The Way 🫣

 

Gosh it’s very windy today! Nix and I tried to walk over the bridge into town but we had to turn around and come home. I still wanted to go but Nix said we were both going to get blown over and it was too dangerous. Our local rag even said that dogs were in danger of being blown away and not to let them off their leads! It’s a good job we had an earlier walk on the beach.

We hadn’t been home long when a parcel arrived all the way from Long Beach California. It was from Mary C Holmes and guess what was inside the box. There were two huge toys, I think one might be a reindeer and the other one looks a bit like a bear but I don’t care what they are. They’re really lovely and they are very, very big. I shall be playing with those later and I am really looking forward to it.

The Vivitreats arrived yesterday, Sue Hudson recommended them to help me take my medication. It was the last thing on our list to try so last night Nix gave me one and I really liked it, it was very yummy. Then when she thought I wasn’t looking, she pressed my half Reconcile tablet into one and put it on the floor and I went to eat it but realised immediately all was not well. As you’ll see from the photo I did not eat it. Nix had decided to give up but this morning she thought she’d have one more go and she put my turkey mince down in one bowl and the Reconcile was ‘hidden’ in two of the Vivitreats. Nix forgot all about it and when she came back all my food had been eaten and the treats had gone. So… we don’t really know whether I’ll get bored with them but at the moment they do seem to be working so thank you Sue because I know I am meant to take them to make me feel better. 

It doesn’t look like I’ll get much in the way of walks today because of the weather but I have my two new toys to play with when I wake up.
