The Wind Has Finally stopped 🙂



 Thank goodness the horrible wind has stopped, I did not like it. My back legs are wobbly enough without any help from the weather thank you very much. Plus we couldn’t go on the beach because it was too dangerous and I ended up going round the block which was a bit boring. Made up for it today though 🙂



We have very good news. Although Nix didn’t say anything she has been very worried because Bron my vet is leaving the practice. As you probably know, vets are not allowed to take their patients with them, they must wait for six months. Well six months is a long time when you get to fifteen 😔 Also Bron is the only one who can do my SUB port flush. Well you know how Nix loves writing letters to CEOs  etc so she decided to write to the practice. She explained that I was 15 and she didn’t want to have to wait six months before she could see Bron again especially as I was due to have another flush in  three months. Nix asked them (very nicely) if they would allow us to move with Bron and pointed out that if they said no, we would be leaving them anyway. We were actually very surprised to get an email back quite quickly to say absolutely, that we could go wherever Bron went so we’re very pleased about that and that’s quite a bit of stress removed from our lives, well Nix’s life really because I don’t worry about these things.




We’ve been to Hove Park this afternoon to make up for being stuck inside most of yesterday. It was quite muddy but I didn’t mind, it was good to be out. On the way back we stopped off at Tescos to get me some turkey mince and Nix nearly fell in the bushes when she got out of the car. I think she gets a bit anxious about leaving me in the car and wasn’t looking where she was going and it was a bit of a tight squeeze to park in the first place. 




Nix can’t seem to write on the photos at the moment, so just to say that the photo of the sea is at Brighton which is a few miles up the coast from us and we don’t know who the stupid person is standing too close to the waves. Also, I haven’t actually lost my tail!



I’ve decided not to eat my tablets again by the way, not sure I like those treat thingies any longer.

    Such wonderful news that you will be able to keep Bron as your vet. I know how much you and Nix love her and have so much confidence in her. I am glad you got our for a bit today. The wind appears to be very bad there, hopefully, it won't last much longer. We are finally getting some warmer weather next week! Not summer like, but better than what we've had. Sleep well, loving thoughts being sent to you. xxxooooxxxxoooo

Christmas Is Coming And We Have New Vicar 😋

So we had a very exciting morning at church…actually Nix did, I was asleep for most of it. Nix and the other churchwarden Kay were able to announce to the church that they have a new vicar. They have been unable to tell anyone about it until certain checks had been done so it’s been quite difficult for them. Now everyone knows and we are all looking forward to Rev Dominic Fenton coming to join us. He had to tell his church this morning that he would be leaving so that would’ve been quite difficult for him I should imagine. I had my photo taken with Nicky and Donald after the service, they brought me biscuits 😋 We have a carol service this evening so we’ll be going back just after 5 o’clock as we’re on welcoming duty. Nix has got some fairy lights to wear around her neck but she’s not sure what the rules are in the Church of England. RIP Fripp 5.1.2010 - 8.2.25 😪

  RIP Fripp 5.1.2010 - 8.2.25 My darling Fripp has crossed the bridge 😪 He passed very peacefully this afternoon in a lovely special room with a bed for him and a sofa for me. I am okay, I think, and I know time will heal.  A little bit about my gorgeous boy…he was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease when he was 7. He did really well on his home cooked diet but when he was eight he developed autoimmune thrombocytopenia due to some meds he was given…not by Bron. He went on a high dose of steroids, lost a lot of his coat with his gorgeous tail being almost bald. He survived the disease and went on to become strong but always with the kidney disease in the background.  Some months later he got sick again and went into kidney failure. He spent a week at North Downs Referrals where they discovered his ureter was blocked with a stone and so he received a subcutaneous ureteral bypass from his kidney to his bladder.
