Horrible Wet And Windy Day 😔



 It’s been such a horrible day today we haven’t really been out very much at all. We did go to church this morning but when we left it was so windy and so wet and Nix was trying to hold onto my bed and I was nearly getting blown over. When we left after having coffee, the weather had got even worse and so I had a quick wee on the corner of the road and then we went in.




As we weren’t going out for walks, Nix spent some time looking at our new vets that we’re going to and it looks like it’s a really lovely  place. It’s a privately owned practice and doesn’t belong to a giant organisation so hopefully that will be much nicer. Nix will cut and paste some bits of information from their website so you can all see what sort of place will be looking after me though of course it will mainly be Bron. 





The website says things like, 'We do not answer to anonymous shareholders, an aloof headquarters or their financial targets.' That’s really good isn’t it 🙂 The lady owner also says, 'I want my colleagues to be permitted to practise veterinary medicine purely for the sake of the animals.' Now that’s even better I think 🙂👏🏼


One of the vets there you may have heard of…Dr Marc Abraham OBE! You can read about him here Marc the Vet but of course he won’t get to treat moi because I shall have Bron 🙂



Tomorrow will still be very windy but hopefully not so wet so we might be able to go for a walk and get some more photos. 




When we went out for our last walk last night there was an amazing sky. By the time we got to the beach two minutes later it had almost completely disappeared. Good job Nix took a photo from outside our bungalow.

Christmas Is Coming And We Have New Vicar 😋

So we had a very exciting morning at church…actually Nix did, I was asleep for most of it. Nix and the other churchwarden Kay were able to announce to the church that they have a new vicar. They have been unable to tell anyone about it until certain checks had been done so it’s been quite difficult for them. Now everyone knows and we are all looking forward to Rev Dominic Fenton coming to join us. He had to tell his church this morning that he would be leaving so that would’ve been quite difficult for him I should imagine. I had my photo taken with Nicky and Donald after the service, they brought me biscuits 😋 We have a carol service this evening so we’ll be going back just after 5 o’clock as we’re on welcoming duty. Nix has got some fairy lights to wear around her neck but she’s not sure what the rules are in the Church of England. Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news ...
