Bit Poorly Yesterday, Feel Much Better Today…

 


Well hello everyone, I am feeling quite a lot better today. I was a bit poorly yesterday and didn’t really eat anything but then later on in the evening I did have some of my turkey mince with pasta. This morning I still didn’t feel brilliant and Nix has said we won’t go to our Tuesday morning communion any longer because it’s an extra couple of times I have to get in and out of the car which I don’t enjoy so much these days. Anyway when we got back this morning I did eat some of my food and since then I’ve demolished (Nix’s words) two more bowls. 





This morning it was still very windy and then it started to drizzle just as we were walking along the beach by the church. When we got back to the church Nix sat by the radiator and put my bed next to it, that was rather nice. Once we got home I didn’t really want to go out in the car again so today we have been walking locally and I did play with my toys for a bit. It’s still been very windy which I don’t really like because it makes me wobble a bit more than usual. 




Sally called in to see us today which was a lovely surprise. Nix was so busy taking that she completely forgot to take a photo which is a shame because we don’t have many others…mainly me blowing in the wind 🙂




Rita is coming round to see us tomorrow so I am looking forward to that. I’ll make sure Nix remembers to take a photo.

Christmas Is Coming And We Have New Vicar 😋

So we had a very exciting morning at church…actually Nix did, I was asleep for most of it. Nix and the other churchwarden Kay were able to announce to the church that they have a new vicar. They have been unable to tell anyone about it until certain checks had been done so it’s been quite difficult for them. Now everyone knows and we are all looking forward to Rev Dominic Fenton coming to join us. He had to tell his church this morning that he would be leaving so that would’ve been quite difficult for him I should imagine. I had my photo taken with Nicky and Donald after the service, they brought me biscuits 😋 We have a carol service this evening so we’ll be going back just after 5 o’clock as we’re on welcoming duty. Nix has got some fairy lights to wear around her neck but she’s not sure what the rules are in the Church of England. Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news ...
