Lots Of Things To Do Today

 


Nix is having a lay down 🤣🤣🤣 Thing is she’s used to not doing a lot during the day and suddenly it’s like she has a job. I don’t mind, I just tag along minding my own business. 




We started the day very peacefully along the boardwalk and I wanted to do two blocks today. I was quite tired though when I got home and had a bit of a sleep in the garden.





After a short nap we headed over for communion and then straight round to the vicarage for Nix’s tuition on working the website. It didn’t go that well but Rev Jane seemed to know what she was doing so Nix will have another go with just her. Nix can do my blog so she’s sure she will be able to do it, just needs a bit of practise.


We had a short walk round the block and headed home to wait for my extra special mackerel to arrive. Almost as soon as it arrived we had to take off for the church hall to meet the man who is fixing a cupboard in there. Once he is finished Nix can lock up and then we can put our paws up for a couple of hours.





Not many photos today but Nix will add some that we took yesterday evening. She also took some more of her Sweet Peas and also the French beans. She thinks they are doing okay but they aren’t as high as they were on the gardening programme the other night. She said they look very healthy but I can see her going out there every morning looking for actual beans, she was bad enough with the Sweet Peas 🤣






Tomorrow we have nothing to do 🙂

 We’ve not done a lot today. Nix has been dozing off at various times and to be honest, I’ve been asleep too. It’s quite nice actually not having anything to do. Nix has been working on the church log book so there was lots of tutting, mainly because she couldn’t remember where she’d put anything. Just in case you were wondering, the log book is an account of everything that is added to the church or taken away or repaired. Eventually Nix will fill in the actual document with special ink that doesn’t fade so it will be there for future generations to read.  We did go to the Rec this afternoon as I did need a little walk but we didn’t stay too long, it was very cold. It was also very muddy but not to worry, most of it will fall off tomorrow in time for my birthday 🙂 Speaking of my birthday, I have received quite a lot of presents and cards which is very exciting. RIP Fripp 5.1.2010 - 8.2.25 😪

  RIP Fripp 5.1.2010 - 8.2.25 My darling Fripp has crossed the bridge 😪 He passed very peacefully this afternoon in a lovely special room with a bed for him and a sofa for me. I am okay, I think, and I know time will heal.  A little bit about my gorgeous boy…he was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease when he was 7. He did really well on his home cooked diet but when he was eight he developed autoimmune thrombocytopenia due to some meds he was given…not by Bron. He went on a high dose of steroids, lost a lot of his coat with his gorgeous tail being almost bald. He survived the disease and went on to become strong but always with the kidney disease in the background.  Some months later he got sick again and went into kidney failure. He spent a week at North Downs Referrals where they discovered his ureter was blocked with a stone and so he received a subcutaneous ureteral bypass from his kidney to his bladder.
