Lovely Cushions…Nix Wants Them 🙄

 We had quite a busy morning today but I’ve been asleep for a lot of the rest of today. This morning we headed over the bridge into town as it was the artisan market and also lemon drizzle cake in the Parish Centre. We met a very nice lady who was waiting for the pottery place next door to open. She was doing a course there and she wanted to make a car. She had brought one she already had but because all her children wanted it when she went to the bridge, she decided to make three more. We watch the Pottery Throwdown programme and we know how difficult that would be. Nix thinks she might have bitten off a bit more than she could chew which is ridiculous because obviously whatever I bite off, I eat 😋 

When we were looking round the market Nix saw some cushions that she really really wants. I like them too, they’re very seasidy and would look lovely in our bungalow 🙂 Caroline who makes them we discovered lives in the next road to us and she recognised moi from when we walk past her house. Nix thinks it’s her who gets recognised but clearly not. Nix said if I can manage to stay healthy for longer than a minute she might treat herself for her birthday next month because you can buy just the covers. We also bumped into Rita and her husband Terry and daughter Jane and so we had a coffee with them before we came home.

Speaking of staying healthy, there might have been a bit of an accident last night. There hasn’t been one of those for ages and I think Nix had slipped into a false sense of security and therefore walked through it on the way to make her breakfast. Can I just say that this is not my fault if she doesn’t watch where she walks. Anyway she cleaned it up and mopped the floor and then realised she couldn’t get to the toaster to make her breakfast because the floor was wet. She solved this by laying sheets of kitchen towel along the floor to make a path…it seemed to work 🙂
