Quiet Day Today, Lazy Mooch on the Beach 🙂



 Well we’re having a very quiet day today. We had quite a late night last night because Nix had her PCC meeting and of course I go too. We got absolutely soaked on the way there but I didn’t mind. I had my raincoat on so it was mainly my head and my legs…I still fell asleep as soon as we got there. When I’m in my bed I like to lay my head on the floor, I do that even in the big beds. 




Today we have just been to the beach for a mooch around. Nix snuck out to the post office while I was asleep, she thinks I didn’t notice but I did, just couldn’t be bothered to do anything about it. When Nix does go out she never stays out for long so I am quite happy in fact I quite like being in charge of the house.




Nix thinks she might have clicked on a button on Facebook because she’s suddenly got lots of notices saying a lot of people have accepted her request to follow moi. Honestly as if people need to be asked but anyway she says sorry if it’s been annoying for everyone. I told her people would be honoured to be asked if they wanted to follow me, I mean they’re not going to say no are they 😇



Nix is busy sorting out lots of things to put on Ebay, she’s on a ‘knock that wall down’ mission 🙄

 We’ve not done a lot today. Nix has been dozing off at various times and to be honest, I’ve been asleep too. It’s quite nice actually not having anything to do. Nix has been working on the church log book so there was lots of tutting, mainly because she couldn’t remember where she’d put anything. Just in case you were wondering, the log book is an account of everything that is added to the church or taken away or repaired. Eventually Nix will fill in the actual document with special ink that doesn’t fade so it will be there for future generations to read.  We did go to the Rec this afternoon as I did need a little walk but we didn’t stay too long, it was very cold. It was also very muddy but not to worry, most of it will fall off tomorrow in time for my birthday 🙂 Speaking of my birthday, I have received quite a lot of presents and cards which is very exciting. RIP Fripp 5.1.2010 - 8.2.25 😪

  RIP Fripp 5.1.2010 - 8.2.25 My darling Fripp has crossed the bridge 😪 He passed very peacefully this afternoon in a lovely special room with a bed for him and a sofa for me. I am okay, I think, and I know time will heal.  A little bit about my gorgeous boy…he was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease when he was 7. He did really well on his home cooked diet but when he was eight he developed autoimmune thrombocytopenia due to some meds he was given…not by Bron. He went on a high dose of steroids, lost a lot of his coat with his gorgeous tail being almost bald. He survived the disease and went on to become strong but always with the kidney disease in the background.  Some months later he got sick again and went into kidney failure. He spent a week at North Downs Referrals where they discovered his ureter was blocked with a stone and so he received a subcutaneous ureteral bypass from his kidney to his bladder.
