Southwick Hill Today…

 We went to church of course this morning and that was very good. We sit on the back row as there is a bit more room for my bed. We used to sit there on our own but now we have lots of friends who sit with us. There’s Liz and  Kaye, Janet and sometimes John and this morning we had Doris too. I think it’s becoming quite a popular row but I expect that’s because they all want to sit with me. Nix  of course thinks they all want to sit with her 🤣🤣🤣🙂 We had coffee afterwards and I basically slept through everything. 

Nix is still on a mission to clear out stuff and today it was the filing drawer. She had electricity bills that went back to 2010, so I’m pleased to say they’ve all gone into the recycling bin. She probably shouldn’t have looked at how much she was paying back in those days because we won’t hear the end of that now. She has sold lots of stuff and is putting the money towards getting the wall knocked down. 

Speaking of building works we have an attached neighbour called Pam who has had some work done with a new kitchen etc and today they were looking in each other’s bungalows. They are of course opposite to each other and for some reason this confused the pair of them. They spent a lot of time saying, “Well if your bathroom is there, why is there more room over there.”  Apparently it was very disorientating and the best bit was as Pam said goodbye, she went the wrong way for the front door and ended up in the kitchen. Humans eh 🙄

We have been to Southwick Hill this afternoon and that was very nice. It was quite windy but that kept me nice and cool and it was fairly empty. I do get tired more quickly these days so we don’t go as far as we used to. I think Nix quite likes the shorter walks…
