Bit Poorly Today

 I’m a bit poorly today so I’m sorry but there won’t be much of a blog. I had a very bad night because there was a lot of noise in the skies and there were bright lights too. The noises didn’t actually wake me up at first because I don’t hear so well these days but once the lights came I was very scared. It went on all night and in the end Nix got up and put the TV on and made a cup of tea. I did shake a lot and I tried to dig the shower tray up but I did settle eventually. 



We went for our walk this morning and I felt fine. It was around lunchtime when I started to feel unwell. I came into the lounge because I was really trembling. At first Nix thought it might be something to do with the previous night’s storm but I don’t think it was. I started to stretch my neck and I do that when I have some pain. Nix now thinks that I was probably passing a stone but we don’t really know. I felt a little bit better and we went for a very short walk round the block and I got lots of attention by the shops but then we came home. 


I have to admit that I did dig the garden up when I was feeling unwell. It made me feel better but I couldn’t deny it as I was caught red handed 🤭



Hopefully I’ll feel better tomorrow and have lots to tell you. Meanwhile Nix did take a video of the beach last night. It was so quiet, probably the lull before the storm 🤔

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news today is

Big Boats and Little Dogs

 There was a very big boat making a lot of noise when we got to the beach this morning. Nix thought that it was very interesting, me not so much. I suppose it shows just how boring Nix’s life really is.  We went down the river this afternoon. You know how Nix has always been scared of going over the bridge over the busy road. Well now she’s decided she doesn’t like going under the busy road either. I think the lockdown thingy has finally done it’s worst. She says it’s worse coming back because she can see it in the distance and knows she’s got to go under it eventually. I like it under there, it’s really noisy and you can hear the lorries above you racing along.  I like to think I took her mind off going under the bridge by perfecting another one of my annoying habits.
