Buckingham Park today…

 I’m feeling a bit annoyed at the moment. Nix and I have been for a walk in the park and when we got home she said I could lay in the garden and she would lay on the bed where she can keep an eye on me. As you know she does tend to doze off and each time she does I quietly make my way down to the border. I think she must sleep with one eye open because she always knows as soon as I get there and I get called in 🙄 After my third attempt she made me come inside for good and now I can only gaze out of the window 😔





Anyway we went to Buckingham Park today. They have planted lots of baby trees there for me to wee up when they get bigger. Les KingEddy Edwards is right and a lot of them look a bit dead. The ones that look dead are all little oak trees so maybe they will come to life next year. When they all grow there will be a proper wood there and it will be nice and shady in the summer. 





Nix has emailed Bron my vet because as you know she didn’t see my abscess last week, another vet did. Ness Keweb’s husband is a vet and he thinks Fripp should have had antibiotics and so did Nix at the time. Although it looks okay and it doesn’t hurt Nix thinks it’s a bit swollen so best to ask Bron. Hopefully the Synulox we’ve got here would be the right antibiotic if I need them and we won’t need another vet’s appointment. 



Nix is going to post a photo of a bit of stick that was stuck in my foot. When she was brushing me she saw it sticking out and she thought it was caught in my fur but it was actually under my skin like a splinter. It measures 3cm long and almost half of it was under my skin…Nix pulled it out because she didn’t realise how much was stuck. It didn’t hurt at all, I’m very brave 😇

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news today is

Big Boats and Little Dogs

 There was a very big boat making a lot of noise when we got to the beach this morning. Nix thought that it was very interesting, me not so much. I suppose it shows just how boring Nix’s life really is.  We went down the river this afternoon. You know how Nix has always been scared of going over the bridge over the busy road. Well now she’s decided she doesn’t like going under the busy road either. I think the lockdown thingy has finally done it’s worst. She says it’s worse coming back because she can see it in the distance and knows she’s got to go under it eventually. I like it under there, it’s really noisy and you can hear the lorries above you racing along.  I like to think I took her mind off going under the bridge by perfecting another one of my annoying habits.
