We Got a Parcel From America 👏👏👏

 


Guess what, we got a parcel this morning all the way from America from Max Smothers and Jeannette. It was very exciting opening it and I got my very own scarf with my name on it. This will keep me nice and warm when the weather is cold. Nix thinks she’s going to borrow it to wear as a hat but I think not. There are lots of snacks for Nix to try out, some of them we’ve never heard of. I might need to give her a hand on that though I’ll probably not bother with the fruit ones, I’m more of a cheese man myself. Some of them have chocolate so I definitely won’t be allowed those but thank you Max Smothers and Jeannette, we love our present. 









I have been well in myself, I’ve been on lots of walks but not too far. Last night we went to watch the sun set and today we have been down by the river. I had a bit of a funny turn last night where I was just standing still and staring into space. It didn’t last long but I think Nix is going to buy me some Activait once I‘ve finished my present course of medication. This apparently should help my brain to work properly, I’m presuming Nix will be getting some for herself 🤣



I haven’t been eating that well since I was poorly so Nix let me finish off her chip butty (same as sarnie) this lunchtime. After I had eaten it I then went and ate all my own food. I am now going to bed as I’m quite full. 




Groomers on Monday so I am being prepared…ears mainly 🤣

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news today is

Big Boats and Little Dogs

 There was a very big boat making a lot of noise when we got to the beach this morning. Nix thought that it was very interesting, me not so much. I suppose it shows just how boring Nix’s life really is.  We went down the river this afternoon. You know how Nix has always been scared of going over the bridge over the busy road. Well now she’s decided she doesn’t like going under the busy road either. I think the lockdown thingy has finally done it’s worst. She says it’s worse coming back because she can see it in the distance and knows she’s got to go under it eventually. I like it under there, it’s really noisy and you can hear the lorries above you racing along.  I like to think I took her mind off going under the bridge by perfecting another one of my annoying habits. I like to walk right behind her and when she looks over her right shoulder to make sure I’m still there I overtake her on the left.
