I Ate Four Meals Today 😇

 Can I just say that If I’m meant to write an interesting blog then I need to do something interesting, not sit around all day doing nothing. I suppose we did go to church this morning and that was quite interesting. We sit in the back row because that way Nix can make a bit more room for me and also it’s nearest the door if the microphone pops which as you know I don’t like. It did make a horrible noise this morning but I was very brave. I wanted to leave but Nix gave me a gravy bone so I decided to stay. I had a custard cream biscuit afterwards at coffee so I’m really glad that I stayed. 






This afternoon we’ve been for another walk down the beach but I had to stay on my lead incase the BCJ was around. I did meet lots of dogs, one lady had seven which was probably a bit too many. They were very noisy and they all barked at me when I tried to get past. 



I’m back to eating four meals a day by the way so Nix is very pleased, she knows that I am feeling completely better. She’s also very excited about getting her eyes fixed and I’m excited about that too. She’s promised me a ride to West Wittering when they’ve both been done. Apparently the beach has no pebbles on it at all, it’s all sand and I shall be able to run all over it. We won’t go in the summer though because it gets very crowded…can’t wait 😇

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news today is

Big Boats and Little Dogs

 There was a very big boat making a lot of noise when we got to the beach this morning. Nix thought that it was very interesting, me not so much. I suppose it shows just how boring Nix’s life really is.  We went down the river this afternoon. You know how Nix has always been scared of going over the bridge over the busy road. Well now she’s decided she doesn’t like going under the busy road either. I think the lockdown thingy has finally done it’s worst. She says it’s worse coming back because she can see it in the distance and knows she’s got to go under it eventually. I like it under there, it’s really noisy and you can hear the lorries above you racing along.  I like to think I took her mind off going under the bridge by perfecting another one of my annoying habits. I like to walk right behind her and when she looks over her right shoulder to make sure I’m still there I overtake her on the left.
