Worthing Market Today 😇

 Nix has to go to the dentist as she has toothache and she keeps saying she’ll call to make the appointment but she hasn’t yet…I think she’s scared 🤣



This morning we had a nice walk on the beach as the tide was low. There were lots of people down, mainly dog walkers and swimmers but unfortunately no BCJ. Someone left a rucksack thingy on the beach and I didn’t like it and wouldn’t go past it. Barking at it didn’t seem to make much difference so in the end I just ran. I was going to wee on it on the way past but I was warned off. 




Nix says she is feeling a little more relaxed than she has in ages as we haven’t seen you know who but apparently I’m very annoying on our last walk round the block. We’ve bumped into him on numerous occasions on that walk so of course I’m on high alert. As soon as I see anyone walking towards us I start ‘jumping about and whining’ even when they don’t even have a dog. Nix says my eyesight is worse than hers which is clearly erroneous 🙄




This afternoon we have been to the market in Worthing. As you know I am very popular there and get a lot of attention so it’s one of my favourite places. I found the perfect pooping spot right outside a café.  Nix gets very embarrassed but at least there wasn’t anyone sitting at the table nearest to me as they would have been directly in my line of fire when I did the digging bit. I did manage to hit the cafe window with a couple of pebbles… 😇

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news today is

Big Boats and Little Dogs

 There was a very big boat making a lot of noise when we got to the beach this morning. Nix thought that it was very interesting, me not so much. I suppose it shows just how boring Nix’s life really is.  We went down the river this afternoon. You know how Nix has always been scared of going over the bridge over the busy road. Well now she’s decided she doesn’t like going under the busy road either. I think the lockdown thingy has finally done it’s worst. She says it’s worse coming back because she can see it in the distance and knows she’s got to go under it eventually. I like it under there, it’s really noisy and you can hear the lorries above you racing along.  I like to think I took her mind off going under the bridge by perfecting another one of my annoying habits. I like to walk right behind her and when she looks over her right shoulder to make sure I’m still there I overtake her on the left.
