Very Windy Today…

 Just look at the time, honestly I’ve been ready for hours and Nix is only just getting round to typing my blog. She says she’s exhausted after last night. Apparently I spent most of the night washing my bits and very loudly too and when I wasn’t doing that I was digging up the floor. I don’t know why she can’t just sleep through it. I have to sleep through her ‘plumping’ up the pillows every half hour. She says she can’t get comfortable because they go too flat and so she has to plump them up…it’s very annoying. 



We knew it was going to be very wet and windy today so yesterday evening we went to the beach to take some photos. Nix took a selfie and thankfully I’ve managed to almost block her out.  We had ice cream on the way home. 




Today we’ve made many attempts to go out for a walk but the wind was too strong, it was almost blowing us over. We were sitting at home bored when Jackie who lives next door said she was bored too so we went in for a cup of tea and a piece homemade fruitcake of which I got none. They tried to make out it was dangerous for me but we all know they just wanted it for themselves. I fell asleep on the floor, Nix says I have a wonky leg!

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news today is

Big Boats and Little Dogs

 There was a very big boat making a lot of noise when we got to the beach this morning. Nix thought that it was very interesting, me not so much. I suppose it shows just how boring Nix’s life really is.  We went down the river this afternoon. You know how Nix has always been scared of going over the bridge over the busy road. Well now she’s decided she doesn’t like going under the busy road either. I think the lockdown thingy has finally done it’s worst. She says it’s worse coming back because she can see it in the distance and knows she’s got to go under it eventually. I like it under there, it’s really noisy and you can hear the lorries above you racing along.  I like to think I took her mind off going under the bridge by perfecting another one of my annoying habits.
