Very Boring Day Today, it’s not Good Enough!

 Do you know I’ve done absolutely nothing today. There have been no photos taken of moi and I’m very very bored. Yes I know I had my two mile walk this morning but as soon as we got home Nix took herself off to church without moi. She wasn’t gone that long and I was a very good boy but I did think I should have liked to have gone too. Mind you that was before I discovered they’d been singing hymns outside the church 😱 How embarrassing is that, what must the neighbours think. Nix said she really enjoyed it as she hasn’t been able to sing in church since the beginning of the virus thingy. One of the chaps took his accordion outside and played for them to sing...I’m glad I wasn’t there, I should not have liked the noise. 



A man came to change our fence this afternoon. Nix and our neighbour Jackie thought it would be nice to be able to chat over the fence but it was too high. Nix bought  some lower ones so now they can see each other and have a good old chin wag. When the old fence came down and before the new one went up I could see next door but one’s cat, I wanted to chase it but I received the warning 😱 



As there have been no photos of me taken today I thought I’d post some of my very own favourites. There is Fripp the magnificent and Fripp the very dirty boy 🤣🤣🤣



I’m going to the groomers tomorrow...

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news today is

Big Boats and Little Dogs

 There was a very big boat making a lot of noise when we got to the beach this morning. Nix thought that it was very interesting, me not so much. I suppose it shows just how boring Nix’s life really is.  We went down the river this afternoon. You know how Nix has always been scared of going over the bridge over the busy road. Well now she’s decided she doesn’t like going under the busy road either. I think the lockdown thingy has finally done it’s worst. She says it’s worse coming back because she can see it in the distance and knows she’s got to go under it eventually. I like it under there, it’s really noisy and you can hear the lorries above you racing along.  I like to think I took her mind off going under the bridge by perfecting another one of my annoying habits. I like to walk right behind her and when she looks over her right shoulder to make sure I’m still there I overtake her on the left.
