The Leaning Tower of Shoreham

 It’s Saturday and the sun is out. Nix is in a great mood because she had so many birthday wishes yesterday but of course lots of you said how much you enjoyed my blog. Yes  I know Nix does the typing but if I didn’t have such an interesting life then it wouldn’t be so enjoyable would it. Waited for Bear to come and then we went to the beach...I sank into a sinkhole...quite a long way...Nix panicked 🙄



A bit later on we went across into town to go to the market and then when we got there it wasn’t on. I didn’t mind too much as we still had an interesting walk. I don’t know why but whenever Nix takes a photo of me by the St Mary de Haura church she always turns it into the leaning tower of Shoreham 🤣 Never mind, I feel I am looking at my best especially after the incident with the sinkhole this morning. 





I posed with some baps as lots of you didn’t know what they were. Apparently you have to be very careful how you use the word as it has connotation thingies...that means it’s rude 🤭

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news today is

Big Boats and Little Dogs

 There was a very big boat making a lot of noise when we got to the beach this morning. Nix thought that it was very interesting, me not so much. I suppose it shows just how boring Nix’s life really is.  We went down the river this afternoon. You know how Nix has always been scared of going over the bridge over the busy road. Well now she’s decided she doesn’t like going under the busy road either. I think the lockdown thingy has finally done it’s worst. She says it’s worse coming back because she can see it in the distance and knows she’s got to go under it eventually. I like it under there, it’s really noisy and you can hear the lorries above you racing along.  I like to think I took her mind off going under the bridge by perfecting another one of my annoying habits. I like to walk right behind her and when she looks over her right shoulder to make sure I’m still there I overtake her on the left.
