I stayed on my own again this morning while Nix went to the hairdressers. It’s the first time she’s been since before the virus thingy started and might I say about time too. She’s been cutting it herself...went on to the YouTube thingy to see how to do it. It didn’t turn out well and I’ve had to walk down the street with her...embarrassing 😱



We’ve been down the river this afternoon and I couldn’t help but notice that some of the signs had gone. Nix said it was the wind but I think if they’re not there then you don’t have to follow their rules. I wanted to go down to my favourite spot but Nix said it was an area of special scientific interest and I was not to go down there...I went down there 🤭




Tomorrow we are going to see Rog again so I’m looking forward to that. The hospice is right next to my favourite woods too so that’s good. I wish Rog could come with us on our walk but he isn’t strong enough but we will be able to go for a walk round the gardens...there’s a pond 👏

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news today is

Big Boats and Little Dogs

 There was a very big boat making a lot of noise when we got to the beach this morning. Nix thought that it was very interesting, me not so much. I suppose it shows just how boring Nix’s life really is.  We went down the river this afternoon. You know how Nix has always been scared of going over the bridge over the busy road. Well now she’s decided she doesn’t like going under the busy road either. I think the lockdown thingy has finally done it’s worst. She says it’s worse coming back because she can see it in the distance and knows she’s got to go under it eventually. I like it under there, it’s really noisy and you can hear the lorries above you racing along.  I like to think I took her mind off going under the bridge by perfecting another one of my annoying habits.
