Bit of a Windy Old Day

 It’s a bit windy here, Nix took a video...there’s a big bird poo on the window 🤣



Nix did a Zoom thingie this morning and I slept in the bedroom because it’s a bit boring for dogs. When I hear them all saying goodbye I like to take up my position for the ’stare’ so we can get straight out for a walk. I knew it would take more persuasion this morning because of the wind so I got in nice and close. Nix pressed the ‘Leave Now’ button and looked at me and said, “Hello big ears!” and then realised she had missed the button and was still connected to the group. She’s now panicking that the Vicar might have thought she was talking to her but of course everyone will know she wasn’t because the Vicar is very pretty and anyway she doesn’t have big ears... no one there does...just moi 🤣🤣🤣



Nix took a selfie (she’s not very good) when we came home from a very windy walk and I posed for some photos with my snuffle mat which was a present from my friend Ginny. 




Tomorrow we are going to the hospice to see my dog father Rog so I thought you’d like to see one of Nix’s useless selfies she took a few years ago. She can’t seem to manage to get two people in the same photograph 🙄

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news today is

Big Boats and Little Dogs

 There was a very big boat making a lot of noise when we got to the beach this morning. Nix thought that it was very interesting, me not so much. I suppose it shows just how boring Nix’s life really is.  We went down the river this afternoon. You know how Nix has always been scared of going over the bridge over the busy road. Well now she’s decided she doesn’t like going under the busy road either. I think the lockdown thingy has finally done it’s worst. She says it’s worse coming back because she can see it in the distance and knows she’s got to go under it eventually. I like it under there, it’s really noisy and you can hear the lorries above you racing along.  I like to think I took her mind off going under the bridge by perfecting another one of my annoying habits.
