Look... a Book About Moi

 It’s an early blog today because Nix and I are very excited. Look what has arrived with the postman...a big book and it’s all about moi 👏👏👏



The wonderful Kathleen Depew decided to make my blog into a book. She did it as a surprise for us and it is very wonderful. It must have taken her a long long time because it goes back a whole year and we feel very honoured that she chose to do it for us. 



I know lots of you always wanted Nix to make my blog into a book but it’s almost impossible to get one published if you’re not already a recognised author but maybe now we have this we might be able to persuade a publisher to give it a go. 



This book is very big and quite heavy, it measures 30cmx30cm and it’s like one of those very posh coffee table art book thingies which I feel is befitting of my standing in life.



Kathleen...thank you so much for this, it’s just the best present ever... 😘😘😘

It’s My Birthday Tomorrow 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

 We’ve not done a lot today. Nix has been dozing off at various times and to be honest, I’ve been asleep too. It’s quite nice actually not having anything to do. Nix has been working on the church log book so there was lots of tutting, mainly because she couldn’t remember where she’d put anything. Just in case you were wondering, the log book is an account of everything that is added to the church or taken away or repaired. Eventually Nix will fill in the actual document with special ink that doesn’t fade so it will be there for future generations to read.  We did go to the Rec this afternoon as I did need a little walk but we didn’t stay too long, it was very cold. It was also very muddy but not to worry, most of it will fall off tomorrow in time for my birthday 🙂 Speaking of my birthday, I have received quite a lot of presents and cards which is very exciting. Everything You Wanted to Know About Fripp

My name is Fripp aka The Fripster, I am a Bearded Collie and I came to live with Nix when I was two years old.  I spent the first two years of my life living in Monaco but my owners couldn’t keep me because they were working long hours. Even though Nix lives in the UK she saw me and wanted me, naturally, and so my breeder brought me to the UK when she was visiting Crufts. Nix says she had no idea what she was letting herself in for and if I hadn’t come all the way from France she’d have sent me straight back the next day. She said I was completely untrained, tried to kill the cat and had separation anxiety so bad I would knock her over rather than let her get to the front door. None of this is true of course.  Nix and I have lived in perfect harmony for the last eight years even though she might say different.
