Quiet Day Today...Nix is Recovering After her Falls...

 So Nix has been recovering for most of the day after her falls yesterday. I didn’t think I’d get much in the way of walks today because she does have bad bruises and I know she’s stiff but I haven’t done too badly really.





We went to the beach this morning...Nix was hobbling along like the old person she is and got lots of sympathy so that made her feel better. I’d been a good boy and I didn’t really leave her side on the beach until she did her accidental releasing of the poo bags in the wind...so embarrassing 🙄



This afternoon we have been to the local park for a quick walk and Nix managed to stay on her feet even through the little wood which was a miracle in itself...she was walking very slowly though. 





I expect there’ll be more to tell tomorrow when we are collecting my dog treats from the pet shop 🙂

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news today is

Big Boats and Little Dogs

 There was a very big boat making a lot of noise when we got to the beach this morning. Nix thought that it was very interesting, me not so much. I suppose it shows just how boring Nix’s life really is.  We went down the river this afternoon. You know how Nix has always been scared of going over the bridge over the busy road. Well now she’s decided she doesn’t like going under the busy road either. I think the lockdown thingy has finally done it’s worst. She says it’s worse coming back because she can see it in the distance and knows she’s got to go under it eventually. I like it under there, it’s really noisy and you can hear the lorries above you racing along.  I like to think I took her mind off going under the bridge by perfecting another one of my annoying habits. I like to walk right behind her and when she looks over her right shoulder to make sure I’m still there I overtake her on the left.
