Busy Day Today...Nix Got Chocolates and I got a I Got a Bull Pizzle đŸ˜±

 I’ve been a very busy boy today because Nix is feeling a lot better so we’ve had lots to do. First of all a visit to the new trench at the old fort. Not much use to me because I couldn’t get at the sandbags to wee up them, I shall have to bide my time on that one.



This afternoon we’ve been to the hill and the woods and I even shared my woodland path with the horses. The mean farmer won’t let them go through his field any longer so I said they could use my path. Their little dog took a liking to me and he nearly got left behind. I prefer sharing the path with the horses to the cyclists who really don’t watch where they’re going. 





When we were walking up the hill I got a lot of attention from this lady. She asked me what my name was and then said, “You are gorgeous Fripp, I really need you in my life...”  I liked her, she had very good taste. Don’t worry, I know what you lot are like, she wasn’t trying to steal me 🙂




On the way home we stopped at Pet’s Cormer to get my treats. Nix said it was easier for me to stay in the car because of the virus thingy but it had nothing to do with that. Last time I went in I stole treats and a toy and Nix had to pay for them so I got left in the car this time. In case anyone is worried about me being in the car on my own you don’t need to worry. Nix had ordered online so she just had to go in and pick them up and she could see me the whole time. 





Look what arrived for Nix this morning...it made her very happy and I think the fact she ate so many gave her the energy to take me up the hill even though her knees hurt. Thank you Sheila, Ron and Willow and we’ll see you soon for a walk on the beach.

So we had a very exciting morning at church
actually Nix did, I was asleep for most of it. Nix and the other churchwarden Kay were able to announce to the church that they have a new vicar. They have been unable to tell anyone about it until certain checks had been done so it’s been quite difficult for them. Now everyone knows and we are all looking forward to Rev Dominic Fenton coming to join us. He had to tell his church this morning that he would be leaving so that would’ve been quite difficult for him I should imagine. I had my photo taken with Nicky and Donald after the service, they brought me biscuits 😋 We have a carol service this evening so we’ll be going back just after 5 o’clock as we’re on welcoming duty. Nix has got some fairy lights to wear around her neck but she’s not sure what the rules are in the Church of England. My name is Fripp aka The Fripster, I am a Bearded Collie and I came to live with Nix when I was two years old.  I spent the first two years of my life living in Monaco but my owners couldn’t keep me because they were working long hours. Even though Nix lives in the UK she saw me and wanted me, naturally, and so my breeder brought me to the UK when she was visiting Crufts. Nix says she had no idea what she was letting herself in for and if I hadn’t come all the way from France she’d have sent me straight back the next day. She said I was completely untrained, tried to kill the cat and had separation anxiety so bad I would knock her over rather than let her get to the front door. RIP Fripp 5.1.2010 - 8.2.25 đŸ˜Ș

  RIP Fripp 5.1.2010 - 8.2.25 My darling Fripp has crossed the bridge đŸ˜Ș He passed very peacefully this afternoon in a lovely special room with a bed for him and a sofa for me. I am okay, I think, and I know time will heal.  A little bit about my gorgeous boy
he was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease when he was 7. He did really well on his home cooked diet but when he was eight he developed autoimmune thrombocytopenia due to some meds he was given
not by Bron. He went on a high dose of steroids, lost a lot of his coat with his gorgeous tail being almost bald. He survived the disease and went on to become strong but always with the kidney disease in the background.  Some months later he got sick again and went into kidney failure. He spent a week at North Downs Referrals where they discovered his ureter was blocked with a stone and so he received a subcutaneous ureteral bypass from his kidney to his bladder.
