It’s Pancake Day and I Got Some 🥰

 I got two walks this morning because Nix got confused with Friday mornings when she Zooms at 8am.  We had a walk round the block really early and when we got home Nix sat down to start her Zooming and realised she’d got the days mixed up and it wasn’t until 9.30am so guess what...I got to go out again on our normal walk where I meet all my friends. They were very jealous that it was only 7.30am and it was my second walk.



Anyway I was apparently very badly behaved this morning. I don’t really know why as there were no incidents to speak of. The thing is if I smell something interesting down the beach then I just have to go and investigate. I do hear Nix calling my name and I do hear the treats being rattled but I have to get to whatever it is that’s smelling so good. Nix said I’d embarrassed her because she’d just been ‘advising’ a lady with her first puppy who wasnt doing as it was told because it was too interested in all the other dogs. Nix said it was best not to ‘set herself up for failure’ ha ha 🤣 Nix should follow her own advice I think because what is the point in keep calling me and rattling treats when you know there’s something far more interesting down the beach 🙄




It’s been raining non stop all day and Nix seemed to think that just because I had two walks before 7.30am there was an excuse to stay in all day...I think not!




Nix actually made pancakes for her Zoom session...she left a bit for me 👏👏👏

 We’ve not done a lot today. Nix has been dozing off at various times and to be honest, I’ve been asleep too. It’s quite nice actually not having anything to do. Nix has been working on the church log book so there was lots of tutting, mainly because she couldn’t remember where she’d put anything. Just in case you were wondering, the log book is an account of everything that is added to the church or taken away or repaired. Eventually Nix will fill in the actual document with special ink that doesn’t fade so it will be there for future generations to read.  We did go to the Rec this afternoon as I did need a little walk but we didn’t stay too long, it was very cold. It was also very muddy but not to worry, most of it will fall off tomorrow in time for my birthday 🙂 Speaking of my birthday, I have received quite a lot of presents and cards which is very exciting. RIP Fripp 5.1.2010 - 8.2.25 😪

  RIP Fripp 5.1.2010 - 8.2.25 My darling Fripp has crossed the bridge 😪 He passed very peacefully this afternoon in a lovely special room with a bed for him and a sofa for me. I am okay, I think, and I know time will heal.  A little bit about my gorgeous boy…he was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease when he was 7. He did really well on his home cooked diet but when he was eight he developed autoimmune thrombocytopenia due to some meds he was given…not by Bron. He went on a high dose of steroids, lost a lot of his coat with his gorgeous tail being almost bald. He survived the disease and went on to become strong but always with the kidney disease in the background.  Some months later he got sick again and went into kidney failure. He spent a week at North Downs Referrals where they discovered his ureter was blocked with a stone and so he received a subcutaneous ureteral bypass from his kidney to his bladder.
