Busy Boy Today...



 I’ve been a very busy boy today and might I say rather well behaved 🙂




This morning we had a quick walk on the beach as Nix was doing her Zoom thingie at 8am. As it was so cold she decided to test out the Velcro on my new coat...it didn’t really work that well 🙄 Nix is going to buy some longer elastic so it’s not so tight and try again...I think it will work very nicely then. 




I was just thinking about a proper walk once Nix had finished Zooming when auntie Jackie our next door neighbour asked if she could come on our walk with us. I thought that was a very good idea as Nix can be a bit boring sometimes. It did mean that I had to have my photo taken with her but that’s okay, I think it came out rather well. 




Time for a quick nap in the sunshine and time to dream of the next walk...I already had it planned in my head. 




I got my way and we went to the river this afternoon. Nix said I didn’t really need another walk so soon but I disagreed. You couldn’t really count the early morning one as it was too short. The time has to be made up and the river was the place to do it 🙂

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news today is

Big Boats and Little Dogs

 There was a very big boat making a lot of noise when we got to the beach this morning. Nix thought that it was very interesting, me not so much. I suppose it shows just how boring Nix’s life really is.  We went down the river this afternoon. You know how Nix has always been scared of going over the bridge over the busy road. Well now she’s decided she doesn’t like going under the busy road either. I think the lockdown thingy has finally done it’s worst. She says it’s worse coming back because she can see it in the distance and knows she’s got to go under it eventually. I like it under there, it’s really noisy and you can hear the lorries above you racing along.  I like to think I took her mind off going under the bridge by perfecting another one of my annoying habits. I like to walk right behind her and when she looks over her right shoulder to make sure I’m still there I overtake her on the left.
